This is a great journalling app, just right for all my needs! Not too expensive, and it does everything I need it to! In fact, when I noticed 2 things that I thought would need improving, I emailed the author, and he responded within minutes, and changed the code so that it would have smart quotes as a default (but could be turned off) instead of the other way around, and he made sure that if you wanted to print out some journal pages, you could opt to not print the background color, to save on ink. But I can still have the colored background page for my journal entries. There’s lots of options that I haven’t even made use of yet, but I’m enjoying using this app very much! I think it is inspiring me to journal more, which is what I wanted & needed. The instant support attention is really amazing! Kudos to Brian! I also love the icon, because before this, my favorite journaling tool was a leather journal and a real fountain pen.

I’m loving this app simply because I can totally customize my journaling pages and fonts anyway I choose to. It can be as clean and simple as I want it or I can really get creative….plus the fact I can add photos and resize right on my page….videos and mp3 files can also be added….so many other features I love also! A big plus is that I can set up and create as many different journals as I need……I haven’t experienced any issues and this seems to be just what I have been looking for. Thanks for a great APP!

None of the other diary/journal apps I see on the app store feature encryption. They feature password protection, but the files are still stored unencrpyed on your hard drive. For that feature alone, I’m extremely pleased. I also like the clean, organized calendar based layout. This makes it easy for me to jump to a date (or I can use the fast search - either way, I find entries quickly). Thank you!

Title says it all. It’s an app you can use as a notebook, diary, journal, etc. No complaints whatsoever.

What a waste of $15. I NEVER spend that kind of money on an app, but there are few journaling apps out there, and this one had good reviews. I suppose if encrypting is the most important feature for you, then this is what you want. But if you want an intuitive, attractive journal app, then skip this one. You can’t design your template in the app; you have to design it elsewhere then import it. For $15, I expected to be able to click and drag a photo from Photos (Mac), then resize it by grabbing a corner. Nope. Couldn’t even click and drag it from Photos on my Mac into the app. First I had to drag it to the desktop, then drag it into the app. Then resize it from a dropdown menu, where I didn’t get a clear image. The text will not wrap around a photo like it does in Pages. I’ve already wasted too much time and money on this app. If you have a Mac, just use Pages. You can password protect it plus you will have a much more intuitive program that looks beautiful too.
